I have been truly spoilt with so many lovely cards, e cards and presents, I'm lucky!

This morning I had my toe nails gelled ready for my holidays, in a lovely multi coloured confetti-like effect. Having decided against going to Whitby due to a combination of poor weather forecast and bad knee, OH and I went into town and had lunch at Betty's. We shared 1 afternoon tea, a chicken sandwich and extra pot of tea. There are too many cakes in an afternoon tea each, so this was ideal.
DD2 and the children came after school with cards, a little cake and presents for me. One of my presents is flowers from Bloom and Wild for 3 months! (for first came today, which was lovely)

Our Indian takeway will be here soon. I have a bottle of prosecco amongst my gifts, so I think we will have that too!

Gem, I'm so glad you had a good birthday-day after so many activities you'd had to cancel this year. Betty's sounds wonderful!

It was only a glass of prosecco, and I have to be very careful which Indian food I can have. When I find a dish I like and can eat I have it again
I'm taking myself to the theatre tonight as a late birthday treat!
