After the recent annoying hacking by 'superbots' we had our hosting company to check the whole site and sweep it clean of any lurking 'bots'. Thank you Daisy.
This they did, and Daisy found very detailed instructions of how to change various settings to avoid this sort of thing happening again.
As I am free this morning , I will be doing this.
I don't expect it this to affect the running of the forum, but in case you do encounter anything odd, it will be me working away in the backroom

Whilst I was tinkering, I have altered the settings for enabling members to see who has Liked a post, as I think previously only Admin could see this. Could someone check this for us please? Thanks .

Hello! Louisa May here, aka Gemini. This is my alias for checking the forum as a regular member. As LM I can see who has Liked a post (you click on the number and it shows you who has Liked. So, I think it has worked. Over and Out!
