    Promoting GRUS

DD1 has been involved recently in promoting businesses via Facebook and other places. She did attempt to explain it to me but most went over my head. It seems you can choose what demographic you are looking for and it is relatively cheap. £14-£20 ish. Do you think this might be a way of attracting new members? Sure she would be happy to sort it for us.

Shem, how very kind of your DD!
Gilly and Jean know more about that type of thing than do, so I will wait for their comments.

I also need to get my act together regarding DD3 printing us some cards or leaflets. She was on holiday, then working away quite a bit, but I will make it a priority to discuss it with her again this week.

Shem, it sounds like a good idea, although Gem is flattering me by saying I know more about promoting forums etc. Gilly is in fact more knowledgeable. I'd love us to get some more lovely Grans to join us. 😍

Would it be ok to ask DD1 if she would do this for us? If it costs less than £20 I am happy to pay it. Any more and I'll check back here. She was saying something about using the banner thing on the top of the forum site so wanted to check if this is ok?

Yes, thank you from me as well, Shem. It sounds a great idea. As Gem says, we'll be in touch asap. Just off to GD duties now.

Apparently you set appropriate filters. i.e. Women but what age range should we go for? Can only add 1/2 smhort setences.

I think Daisy will fill you in more Shem, she has the 'original' of the banner which your DD would need. As for age range, I suppose 50+ ? I know you can be a Grandma earlier than that, but that age range catches the majority.
