In common with many forums there are abbreviations which we often use. These can be a little puzzling, so we have compiled a list!

GC Grandchild or Grandchildren

DD Dear/Darling Daughter

DS Dear/Darling son

GD Granddaughter

GS Grandson

GGD Great Granddaughter

GGS Great Grandson

GM Grandmother

GF Grandfather

GGM Great Grandmother

OH Other Half (husband, partner)

DIL Daughter in Law

SIL Son in Law (but also Sister in Law!)
