How do you use the forum?

Generally when I come to the forum, the first thing I do is look at the very bottom, where it says the name of our newest member. I check it is as it should be, otherwise some swift spammer deleting may be in order!
After that I go to the New Topics section and work my way down all the unread ones. If I am a real hurry and don't have time to read them all, I look for anything vital, such as a member needing help or support, then quickly visit the chat box.

I wondered if everyone used the forum like this. Or do you simply look for anything new which jumps out at you? Another way it to look at the Latest Topics column on the right.

I am just curious as to how everyone goes around the forum..

Gem - much the same. I go straight into AdminCP to check all is ok, then New Topics, looking at unread ones first, then ones where I've been posting. A lot depends on how much time I've got and whether I'm on my computer or my iPad.

Sometimes I go to Latest Topics and other Latest Activity. I keep forgetting Daily Hello but find it very interesting when I remember. I am trying to cut down the time I spend online as hours pass so quickly but I always head first for GRUS!

Always to latest topics and have a swift look there whilst enjoying first cuppa of the day,then a glance at any new topic which may grab me,mostly post evening time when relaxing after getting in from work but last few days have posted before I set off it just depends xxx

First thing in the morning I go to Daily Hello and say good morning. Then as and when I get the chance I go to new topics. Love to have a nosey at everything, but a bit behind with being on holiday.

I go to the top right hand corner to look to see if I have any messages. If I have to, I go to my message section where I see who has liked a post or joined in posts that I have. When I've done this & replied/or not I then go on to look at the New Topics. I work my way down the list or if something takes my fancy I read that first. Sometimes I might look at my previous posts to see if there have been any additions or if I want to add anything else.

My only problem on here, (personal to me) is that when I come on my laptop the print is very small, so the first thing I have to do is to go to the 'A' top right hand corner to bring up the text options. I choose the font, then size and begin typing. The problem with this is that I have to do this every time I post. Because of my poor sight the site print size is just too small for me to be able to read without a whole lot of squinting

I think the most challenging thing on here is trying to think where a new topic goes. Then because of my memory/or not I sometimes forget how to create a new topic Saying all this I do find GRU much easier to use than I did at the start.
