This is just a reminder about starting new threads/topics.
There is such lot of interesting talk in Chat, which gets lost and not followed up on.

Chat is a lovely section, and we wouldn't be without it, but it is generally for day to day chat and sort of passes way into history. No one is going to scroll back through several days chat to find and comment on anything, so some topics don't get the feedback they deserve!

This is just a plea - when writing in Chat to think 'Is this interesting enough for its own thread?'
This and That is a great place for threads as we can then move them around if needs be.

Keep Chatting but please consider posting in other areas too

It’s one I never look at because I don’t have the time. I look at thread title and if I think I’ve something pertinent to say, I’ll comment.
Clearly, I must miss a lot!
So agree, please do start new threads.
And perhaps start a new Chat after 500 posts. Just a thought.

I wonder if sometimes we fail to start a new thread because we do't know where the best place to put it. Would it help if we made the topic headings easier, and if so what would be the most help.

Sometimes our posts cover more than one topic, such as our day and also about car problems, and grandchildren etc, etc. It works fine for me.
