Signatures

How/where can we do a signature. Thanks.

Hi Nanto2girls. I'm doing this from memory as I'm logged in under Admin and it's different. So I hope this works>

Click on your avatar and you should get a little pencil symbol for Edit. Click on that and you get 3 or 4 headings going across the screen. Click on Account and scroll down to Signature. Type your signature in the box, scroll down to the bottom of the page and Save.

Nan2 I pressed Edit setting then on top it will say accounts press that scroll to Conversation details then edit post signature then follow instructions

I've tried doing it and I keep getting an error message, is it because I am using my IPad and not my pc I wonder ?

Mimi - yes quite possibly. If you can, try it on your PC. Sorry, I missed out the Edit setting bit. Let us know if it still doesn't work.

I had to use my pc to get my signature accepted, it wouldn't work when I used my iPad

Mimi - I've found that with several things (not just GransRus). If I set it up on my Mac it works perfectly on my iPad/iPhone, but iPad doesn't seem to have the same functionality.

btw - I keep forgetting 'likes' too. I think it's partly still getting used to new software.

Mimi I cannot do signature or smilies on my HiPad nor on my work laptop. I can only do them on my ancient personal laptop, it hasn't had so much attention for ages.
