    FAO Sunshine!

Sunshine, you started a thread about Happiness Jars, didn't you?

I'm sure you did, and I responded to it. I wanted to post in that thread again today but I cant find it!
I have tried the Search Box to no avail.
Put me out of my misery please!

Gem - I think Sunshine mentioned Happiness jars in a thread about New Year Resolutions.

Funnily enough I've earmarked my jar for Happiness today. It's currently in the dishwasher - one way of getting a clean start.

I will wait to see if Sunshine wants to start a new thread about it (unless she has and I can't find it!) Otherwise I will start one.

            I found it!
I started a new thread on This and That, and moved Sunshine's post and the replies.

Good idea Glamma, I think my OH squirrels away change like that too

Glamm - that just shows how small regular savings can mount up. Well done. Are you saving for something specific?

Hello again. I just write down anything β€˜nice’ that happens. I put it on a scrap of paper, with the date. Then I fold it up, put it in a jar and leave it there until the end of the year. There is no limit to the number of notes in the jar. At the end of the year, or beginning of next year, open all the notes, read and enjoy.

Sunshine - what were your favourite nice things from 2018?

My favourite things from last year were mostly involving the grandchildren. My great nieces featured highly too. Also the first daffodil to bloom. An unexpected phone all from an old friend was very lovely too. The biggest, single β€˜special’ note was the call from my son to say he has been accepted on the lung transplant list. We are still waiting for some lungs to become available, that will be suitable for him. Hopefully that will be in this years happiness jar.

Sunshine - if that call comes, it will be in my happiness jar, too. xx
