    Air fryers.

Put this here as it seemed to be the best place. We are the new owners of an air fryer, just wondered if anyone else has one. We used it tonight for the first time, wanting to start easily we did sausages and chips. I have to say it tasted delicious and involves no fat or oil. Now have to treat myself to an air fryer cookbook, so many things to cook. Chops, steak, chicken etc, etc and all with no fat or oil, got to be healthier. Hubby saw it reduced by £40.

I can't say I have even heard of these Libra!
I am supposing that it is the cooking equivalent of the steam cleaner? As those clean with no added cleaning agent, so the air fryer cooks with no fats or oils?

Two of my sister in laws have an air fryer.I have been toying with the idea of getting one.
But, 1 SIL it's great, the other wasn't impressed, but didn't really know why.
A friend has one, and she said homemade chips take forever to cook.

Let us know how it goes. I've been thinking of getting one for ages but I wasn't sure how much space I'd need in the kitchen.

I must admit I have never heard of an air fryer. I will google but I doubt if I will buy one. We used to always have everything new going on and always ended up with it in the back if the cupboard.

I find ZIZI I use all my electrical goods, especially my mixer. I can honestly say I regularly use all my gadgets. Even the breadmaker which was bought for OH I have now commandeered, actually going to make bread and rolls tomorrow. Nana mine are all kept in my larder unit.

I use my slow cooker and soup maker a lot, don't make many cakes these days so that lives in a cupboard. I love my bread maker but again I don't use it a lot. Do you use a kit for your bread Libra?

My Friend swears by hers , but I don't think it saves time , things seem to take longer but that's just me ,
To be honest I wouldn't have any room for one anyway

I am a hopeless bread maker unless I use the bread machine, I used to make pittas for the grandchildren, they were fun and much better than the bought ones, must have another go.

I have wondered how air fryers work - it sounds a bit smoke and mirrors but without the smoke, if that makes sense! I love proper home-made chips - oven chips just aren't the same, but hated the whole nasty oily chip pan scene. I'm definitely not a kitchen goddess who would empty and filter the oil after each use.

I've never made bread without a bread machine - I use mine all the time and it earns its place on the work surface. I'm not so keen on the mixes - it's easy enough to chuck yeast, flour etc in the machine.
