cheescakes...anyone...

    cheescakes...anyone...

    I went to a Christmas Market on Sunday and they had little mini cheesecakes, lots of different flavours, the one that caught my eye was the Gingerbread cheesecaske, they had little gingerbread men on the top,all individual, the one that caught my daughters was the strawberry and prossecco...., i didn't buy any but thought i would make some for christmas day, i have "googled" and cannot seem to find any recipes, anyone have any idea how to make chessecakes please...what would you serve them in just clear fancy glasses....

    Thought you meant the other sort of cheesecake, they should certainly be served in fancy glasses

        At the risk of sounding dim, what other kind of cheesecakes are there.
        Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

          I was thinking the same Nanto ,
          my DD made little cheese cakes in shot glasses last year , crumb base and cheese cake on top are those the sort Pearl ?
          Im not fat just 6ft too small

                They were Oma until i saw Planat's definition of cheesecake, might have to go with that instead..... strawberries, prosecco and him....yummy...

                Im not sure Plant but did you mean Beefcake haha

                    I've made chilled cheesecakes, but you can also do cooked ones, and I think they originate in Germany.

                    I think I've seen some recipes on FB recently. If I can find them I'll copy the link across.

                        I have made a lot of cheesecakes in my time. My favourite and that of my family is baked vanilla cheesecake but I have made chilled ones as well. I don't do as much baking now as I used to, usually only the grandchildren's birthday cakes. Let me know if you would like one of my recipes.

                            I joined Pinterest about 6mth ago. I get lots of recipes from there as well as craft ideas with or without children. Free knitting patterns. I don't know how I got on before it.

                              Nana - I like Pinterest, too. I use it for ideas for activities with GD1 and various things I dabble in.
