Honey, mustard & crème fraîche baked chicken

We are all looking for quick and easy recipes!
I made this last night . It was easy and we both loved it. I will make it again.
I didn't have any coarse grain mustard so substituted English. I left off the tarragon, as we didn't have any fresh. I would plan ahead and have some next time.

HONEY AND MUSTARD CREME FRAICHE BAKED CHICKEN
      • prep:10 mins . Easy
      • Cook:45 mins . Serves 4

This cheap and simple chicken one-pot makes for a fuss-free dinner

     IngredientsMethod
    • STEP 1

Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Mix together the crème fraîche, mustard, garlic and stock with some seasoning. Arrange the chicken, skin-side up, in a roasting tray just large enough for the chicken and vegetables.
    • STEP 2

Tuck the potatoes and beans in between the chicken pieces. Pour over the stock mixture then season the chicken and drizzle with honey. Cook for 40-45 mins until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes tender. Scatter over the tarragon before serving

Gem, that sounds delicious, and I shall certainly try it as well.

I keep a pot of French tarragon in the garden. It grows really well through the summer and dies down in the winter. Even in last year's cold weather it survived in the summerhouse with a layer of fleece over it. The last pot I had kept going for years (until I forgot to protect it when we took the greenhouse our!).

Oma in fact I used just chicken thighs, as that was all we had in the freezer, so no bones.

It was lovely with English mustard, I'll probably try with grain mustard next time to see if there is any difference.

I love S's chicken breast in tarragon sauce recipe. She hasn't made that in AGES!!
