    ** Mug Cakes

I know I'm not the only one on here who has a love/hate relationship with cooking and cakes - love the cakes, hate the cooking!!! But what about mug cakes made in the microwave? Has anybody tried them?

I was mesmerised by the idea of pizza in a mug!!

I've made puddings in the microwave, in a bowl. Always turned out ok.
You can put jam/golden syrup in the bowl, then your mixture on top.
You need your mixture a bit softer than if you were doing it an oven.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto - I've made those too. It's a good standby when you've got a hungry mob to feed but no time for finesse!! Just add a big jug of Bird's custard. I believe they don't keep like 'proper' puds but there has never been any left to put that to the test.

Oma - make that a lot of custard and I'll be round to yours in a flash!
