    Mushroom Stroganoff

    1/4 pint Beef stock
    Mushrooms
    Tub sour cream
    1 Sliced Onion 1 Sliced Green pepper
    1.1/2 Dijon mustard
    1 tbl spoon Worcester sauce
    Brandy 1 measure
    Salt & Pepper

    Fry Onions on medium heat for 5 minutes till soft and browning
    Add Mushrooms & Pepper
    continue frying till Peppers soften and Mushrooms are cooked
    Add Brandy and Flambé
    Add Mustard , Worcester sauce, Beef stock
    Reduce till 1/2 the liquid is gone

    Add 2-3 table spoons of sour cream
    Reduce till sauce is thick season and it's done

    This is Bs way

    Oma - many thanks! I think I could manage that - after all, I'm used to flambe-ing things!

    Thank you so much. I had put mushrooms on my grocery order, but haven't got green peppers so I'll use red or yellow - it shouldn't matter too much, should it?

      My recipe has yellow peppers so you could mix and match the recipes Daisy

        That's me sorted for Saturday when my starving 2 x eldest grandsons come to tidy my garden thanks so much for a lovely change. xglamma x
