    Super Mondays at Vue cinema

For those of you who don't have senior screenings in your area, or not on a day you can go, this Vue deal is a good one.

OH and I intend to take advantage of it, as our Vue stopped the Senor screening a couple of years ago, and the senior day at the cinema in town is the day I see my mum, and OH golfs.
You just join Vue as a member (free) and they send you a code which you show at the box office, or enter online, for the reduced seats, the same code every time you go. At Β£3.99 each, we are happy
We both happen to be free this coming Monday, so are going to see Murder On the Orient Express.

I get six free tickets for Cine World once a year from my Lloyd Bank Account. the Grandchildren and their friends usually have them.

I used compare the market to get BOGOF cinema tickets. I bought one day UK holiday insurance for a few pounds. You are then eligible for one year of BOGOF tickets. Lost all the info when my iPad was hacked and haven’t got round to sorting it. We only go to the cinema a couple of times a year.

Thanks Gems I have just looked at whats on at our local Vue Cinema for next week and I quite fancy seeing Suburbicon which is a bit of a thriller the Cinema is in a shopping complex here in New Brighton so I can tie it up with my weekly shop at Morrisons then relax at the cinema for an hour or two. I will take hubby but he will most probably drop off and be found doing some zzzz's whilst the film is showing.

Granma2aj, a friend of ours said she went with her DD and GC and felt emotional too! I must go and see it. I missed the first one.

I haven't vevn heard of Vue cinemas, so I googled it and our nearest one is Eastleigh - about the same distance as southampton, but difficult to get to, difficult to drive round and terrible parking problems! I'd like to see Paddington2 with the girls, though, as it's their favourite CD for car journeys.

We loved it Daisy! We went to an evening performance and it was all adults like us, no children in the audience at all

Our Vue is so convenient. Out of town, 10 minutes drive, free parking. There is a nicer, 3 screen arthouse cinema in town which we sometimes go to. However, either Β£4 each return bus fare, or parking charges, make Vue an attractive option!

Just bumping this up, in the light of Glamma's thread on cinema prices!

Thanks Gem. OH has some kind of set up where you can get the most recent films on our tv. All above board but too techno for me. We saw the '3 billboards' one which I thought was good but wondered if the critics watched the same film as me when it came to 'The Shape of Water'. I thought it was awful. The lead woman in the latter was the same woman who took Paddington Bear in...the mother.

I've watched both PB films on tv & loved every minute. Very magical & imaginative. I love the London pop up book illustrations too. I actually saw one of the books in CostCo. I think I might drop a few hints as it's my birthday coming up soonπŸ˜‰πŸ€£

Yes, it should Glamma. It's for anyone, it's not a senior thing.
Once you can get onto the website they will give you a code. You then either print it off, or show your code on your phone each time you visit.
