    Great Gift.

GS2 had his 5th birthday on Saturday. One of the gifts which he brought with him yesterday was a Young Archaeologist's set. It was a block of plaster of Paris (or similar) in which dinosaur bones had been embedded along with a glow in the dark dinosaur. It had tools too, and although quite messy, kept him quiet for ages. I understand he can connect all the bones he 'digs' out to build the skeleton of a dinosaur. I thought it was a brilliant gift.

Anything that keeps them occupied is good news Grauntie. My GS went through a dinosaur period and loved this sort of thing.

I remember buying something similar for DGD, she loved it. Glad he enjoyed it

Sounds very enjoyable and gives him the knowledge of how our bones fit together

That does sound a good present Grauntie. Lots of fun

I'm sure my GS would love it.
