    Christmas/New Year bargains

Share any bargains you have seen or bought!

I have bought a few Christmas things in the Lakeland sale, all well reduced.

This morning I bought some PJs and slipper boots in the Seasalt sale . My present slipper boots are past their best and they have some lovely ones in the sale.
Seasalt is above my budget but nice for the occasional sale item.

Well I didn’t intend buying anything in the sales but …
We went to Dunelm this morning I wanted some new pillowcases ,
just browsing when I seen a table lamp I really liked it was down from £52 to £26 .
I have been looking for a new lamp but didn’t intend getting one yet ,
At that price though it was a bargain , so home it came with me, would have been rude not too 😁💡

Of course Oma, we love bargains! I have ordered a jacket, 75% off it, if it doesn't fit it will be returned, DS1 asked if I ever pay the full price for anything??? Do you have Oral B, toothpaste etc in the UK, usually very expensive at €7 a tube, the same for the mouthwash, they are on offer at our local chemist, 4 for €10 so that is a good bargain. I got some yesterday and will call tomorrow and get some more for my store cupboard. The other week I ordered something on line and to get free postage I had to spend €20, to make it up I ordered a L'Oreal lipstick, it was on offer of course, GD1 was here the other day, she always inspects the bathroom cupboard, I saw that she had used it, she said " I could easily go home with that nan, by accident", I told her she could have it so she was very pleased.

Oral B Toothpaste is about £2-5 here depending on the type you go for ,
I would stock up if I was you when it’s on offer .

In Lidl yesterday I noticed Colgate mouth wash is now £5 a bottle , I can’t use that it burns my mouth so I buy either Oral B or Wisdom and they are cheaper.

Lizzie, I think you are like I am with my GD, I have never been able to deny her anything

I got a pair of Reiker shoes and a lovely skirt and Jumper from Peek&Cloppenburg ( Lizzie will recognise that store!) in Bratislava all heavily discounted. So they took up the space I'd used in my suitcase for the stuff I took to DS! Case was still lighter coming home though!

Haven't really looked at anything here yet.

We still have Peek & Cloppenburg WG. I managed to get a pair of jeans that fit, they are such a good fit I have ordered a second pair, after losing the weight my backside has vanished and most jeans just hang on me.

To be honest Gem, I did order the lipstick with GD1 in my mind, but, when it came I did like the shade.

I've had a quick look at M and S website to see if there are any bargains but I wasn't overly impressed.
I have a M and S gift card which was a Christmas present but I'm not in hurry to use it at the moment.
We were given jointly a Amazon gift card which will be used for something for the garden and we also were given a voucher for afternoon tea at a posh hotel in town.

Apart from that there isn't anything that is going to attract me to any sales in town or online.

Mimi, I find it hard to dig out the real bargains in seasonal sales! If I find something to wear that I really like you can guarantee it's in every size except mine!

I'm just going to have a look at Lakeland's sale though!
