I have tried the Karcher! I did the full length glass back door which was covered in doggy nose prints, and it cleaned up nicely. I've also used it on our glass kitchen table tonight, but the jury's out on that until I see it in daylight!

I did say I'd report back on my Karcher window cleaner, so here goes!

The glass kitchen table did look ok in daylight!

Today I've cleaned the kitchen windows - 4 large expanses of glass. They had got splash marks on them, especially the one over the sink, so when I did the first one I sprayed it with the concentrate stuff and used a j-cloth to make sure the splash marks were cleaned off. The Karcher thingy did a really good job of finishing them without any streaks. By the time I got to the second one it was pouring with rain so it was hard to see splashes on the inside. But I can't blame the Karcher for that, and it was still a good job. The whole job took a lot less than usual - I always clean the frames and inside the frames, plus cleaning the tiled window sills. So I was pleased how well the gadget worked, and that it wasn't too heavy.

Just the rest of the house to be done now!

Silly question I'm sure Daisy, but does the Karcher clean the frames as well, or just the glass?

Just the glass, Gem! It's like a larger-than-normal squeeggee with a reservoir to collect the water it takes off the windows. I found there isn't much water left on the rubber bit round the edges - it just needed a quick wipe with an old towel. But you have to wash the frames and window sills separately.

It can be used for lots of things like Tiles , table tops , work surfaces etc ,
Mine gets used daily on the wall tiles in the shower , and cleaning my glass Coffee table after the dog has stuck his nose on it or like yesterday when O spilt a can of Coke on it then insisted on standing another tin on without a coaster
Even found it good for picking up spills
Mine has two sizes of heads a long squeegee and a smaller one , the small one is ideal size for the small squares on my front door
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Well done Daisy what has become of you, cleaning windows baking cooking I will have to have a sit down , welcome to the BB club, I must admit I don’t use it all the time usually just windows inside and they don’t get done every week, I use a squeegee for the shower daily and the tables stay fairly clean I have 5 glass tables in various rooms and now the kids are at school they remain fairly clean a bit of a dust most days and once a week spray cleaner bish bash bosh

Qwerty - I'm definitely not in your and Oma's league! Even the thought of cleaning windows every week hasn't crossed my mind. I do them when we need the light on all day to see our way round!!!!

Oma - yours must be a posher one than mine. I've only got one head for it, and in fact it's too large to use on the glass panels on our internal doors. There's only one flat 'wall' to our shower cubicle, so it's not great for that, but the other windows are huge and it will save time, and might even encourage me to clean them more often!
