That is so sad Qwerty. I did wonder if this would be the outcome, something very similar happened to my friend's dad, with the same outcome.

Qwerty - just wondering how your friend is. Have they got a date for her dad's funeral?

I spoke to her when I came back from York she seems fine , gone back to work, she’s quite a strong lady but she must have bad days, she is quite deaf and lip reads has 2 hearing aids and when born and had the heel prick in hospital .something happened and her heel never grew properly so she has issues with that hence has gone through some stuff. We are meeting for lunch a week on Monday but no sign of funeral as it’s in the hands of the coroner so I am assuming there is an inquest , thanks for asking Daisy

She's one of life's 'copers', Qwerty, but it must be hard not being able to get on with organising her dad's funeral.

I always find that the time between death & the funeral a horrible time. Sort of limbo. I hope there'll be news soon.
