    How sweet!

I was chatting online with a friend this morning arranging to meet up next week when she will be in York.
I told her I would be away all weekend, meeting with online grandma friends.
"How sweet!" was her comment. Then she asked if we would be 'Cooing over baby photo's' .I said we do most of that online so we will be mostly having fun. Meals, lots of chats, BBC tour etc.

Honestly say the words Granny or Grandma and some people think of some very old person in a shawl and rocking chair! Have they met todays grandmothers??!!
This woman is only a few years younger than me, but has no children or grandchildren.
She has a strange idea of us grannies!

Lol Gem my seat on the train is booked as they all are through train line, I'm sure I never gave them my age but I see, to have been booked in priority seat when I looked up what that meant it said disability, expectant lady, person with toddler and the elderly that would be me then😱 Regardless that I have blue nails and yellow toes.

Well I'm sitting knitting in my night clothes & slippers so I probably fit the stereotype. By the way Daisy I'm knitting a Fr Christmas for my brother's church raffle.

Mention the name Gran,Granny and Grandma and some people automatically think of old ladies.
I don't think a lot of them realise a lot of us are grandparenys when we are only in our 40's.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
