    Seeing visitors off.

When we have any visitors, be it friends or relations, we always walk out with them to the gate or their car, when they are leaving.
This is something we have always done.
When we visit one particular pair of friends, they never see us off. Whether they are in the kitchen or living room, we always see ourselves out.
Maybe i am wrong, but i just think it's a polite thing to do.
Curious to know if you walk out with visitors when they are leaving.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Oh yes we always see them out and down the drive to the car, family as well as visitors and friends, its the polite thing to do I think , we know some who close the door on you as soon as your over the thresh hold and I always feel like we have been thrown out

Yes, we always see any visitors off properly, anything else seems rude and unfriendly and as though you can't wait to get rid of them.

Unless it's pouring with rain we wave to them as they turn the corner at the end of our cul de sac as well.

Nanto - I think I'd be a bit upset if friends didn't even come to the front door with me as I was leaving.

Oh, I would hate it if friends or family didn't see me off, even my 88 year old mum sees me off at the door!

We always go to the front door and usually wait and wave friends off whether they leave by car or on foot.

We always see family and friends off, even if its only to wave from the doorstep

So do we, and all our friends do the same. MIL always used to stand on the pavement waving until we were out of sight. The children loved that

Just thought, all this talk of waving, I don't always have a long sleeved top on, now it's just more than the hand that waves. 😱

We do that too. Always go to the car with them and wave until they are gone. Most of the people we know including some family just shut the door. It leaves you feeling a bit flat and as though they were hoping you would go!

                    Mind you ???????????????????????????

Elisi, my DDs don't wave me off, just see me to the door, kiss, brief wave then go in! With the exception of DD1, as GS1 would be devastated if he couldn't wave me out of sight
