    Mission embarrassing

    ARACHNOPHOBES BEWARE

I'd just stepped under the shower this morning when I spotted a spider desperately trying to escape from the cascading water. He (or she) was a rather attractive ginger colour, and I try not to kill spiders anyway. So I turned the water off, dripped my way out of the shower, dried my hands and scooped up a handful of loo roll to rescue the poor creature. She climbed gratefully on the the snowy white dryness, and I opened the bathroom window, tipping her gently onto the extension roof below me.

Our fairly new neighbour was in their garden and happened to be looking our way, so he was treated to the sight of me, in my dripping birthday suit, carefully waving loo roll around and talking to it!!

A cheery wave and a friendly”Morning” would probably have made your neighbour embarrassed for looking your way

Clover - I don't think we was looking intentionally - it's not often I put on displays like that! I just hope Ginge was ok!

I hope the spider was grateful!
