    Farmfoods

Popped into our local Farmfoods shop on my way to in laws this morning.
I have never met a shop assistant as bright and cheery as the girl this morning.
As soon as I walked into the shop, she greeted me with a lovely big smile. It was a pleasure to be served by her.
She certainly put a spring in my step, I had to send an email to her superiors telling them about her.
Hope they give her some praise ,because she certainly deserves it.

What a lovely girl. And you too Nano2....not many people bother to send rewarding feedback to employers. XX

It does make a difference Nanto, a smile, well done for sending that email, when i worked in M&S i worked in the changing rooms, there was this lady brought over from the cafe, she had had a cup of tea spilt on her, so M&S sent her over to replace her top and trousers, she waited in the changing rooms, told me her size and briefly what she wanted, so got her trousers and top, a few different tops to try on, she choose one and she was happy, next week she came in with a card and box of chocolates, i got a pat on the back but that made my day, put the chocolates in the staff room, still have the card,

I went above and beyond, when working at Bhs. I hand delivered a special ordered ,cutlery set, to make sure they had it in time for Christmas. The bloke just went "Ok thanks." and shut the door. Not that it was in a village and I'd saved them another long journey through the Christmas shopping crowds. I was a bit deflated, but never heard anymore. Though I did still feel good about it.
It's lovely that you took the time to let the manager know she was nice and cheerful and made your day.

Nan2, how nice and how nice of you to take the trouble to email and praise her. We are more likely to put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard in complaint, we should remember to say thanks you when called for

GJ, nasty man, some people just don't deserve our efforts!

Nanto - how thoughtful of you to make sure that lovely girl's employers know they have a treasure on their staff. A little praise goes a long way - well done.

GJ - I suppose you have to think that you did a good turn and hopefully someday, somewhere that bloke remembered your kindness and did someone else a favour.

Pearl - how lovely that the customer appreciated that you had changed a 'bad luck' day into a good luck one.

We don't have 'Farm Foods' round here - it sounds as though we're missing out!!!

I don't mind giving praise where it is due.
Pearl, that was so nice of the ladyto bring chocolates and a card.
grannyjules, how ungrateful of the chap, people like that make you think why do I bother, but if it's in your nature, you will bother.
Oma, next time I go in Farmfoods I will look for the crispy duck, sounds like something hubby would like.
Daisy, we have only had a Farmfoods for a few months, the nearest one before was in Wakefield, but quite a way from the town centre.

I do hope your praise filters through to the young lady concerned and she is acknowledged by her employers,I use Farmfoods for baked potatoes they are always perfect and ready in 5 mins when in a hurry,I will also try the crispy duck as we are very fond of it and always looking for something for a change maybe mid-week.

I too will be looking for the crispy duck!. We have Farmfoods a couple of miles from us.

For any who haven't been to a Farmfoods store, its a frozen food shop, which sells plenty of non frozen goods at very good prices.
I always think the name is misleading, making it sound like a farm shop!
