    I am vegetarian, so obviously no ofal! However I find vegemince is a tastier alternative for cottage pie than quorn mince. Quorn is tasteless but absorbs flavours. I use marmite to flavour the vegemince and simmer in some water which it absorbs. I have cooked separate meals for about 30 years as O H eats meat but I went veggie shortly after my then teenage daughter went vegetarian.I use quorn in stir fries,slicing the larger pieces.

      I will look out for it Millie. What is it made from. Is Quorn made from a fungus. Not keen on Tofu

        Vegemince is made from soya and is fat free.I use it to make spag bol and lasagne too.

          I laughed reading this post ( which is an achievement today). Took me way back to a 'Domestic Science' lesson. We prepared a heart & stuffed it. In preparation time we heard a big clonk...one of the frailer girls in our class passed out.
          Poor dad ate everything I made at school. The meat Loaf lasted a week! 😍
