      Pearl I can only knit scarves. Holey scarves which are much wider at the bottom than the top My mum, a lifelong excellent knitter must despair of me!

        same here Gemini, my mam can knit with her eyes shut, everything was knitted all our dolls clothes, she used to get orders for the ponchos, the whole street used to be walking around in the same knitted stuff...:little loopy cardigan and matching hats) saying that I love home made knitted stuff on babies, I knitted a cardigan for DS when he was born 30yrs ago had a couple of dropped loops which my mam picked up for me, it was alright but I wouldn't have a clue how to do it now, I binned it, wish I still had it in my keep sake box
