    Coffee

Just when I think I've got the various types of coffee almost sorted out in my head, along come Functional Coffees! Protein coffee, lion's mane coffee, collagen coffee, plus others I don't understand like nitro cold brew, mazagran, and dozens of others.

Then to make things even more confusing, apparently Generation Z or is it Millennials, scorn coffee completely and opt for Matcha, which I understand is a type of tea!

I might just stick to water.

    It's a mine field Daisy,
GS was telling me the new vitamin that people are taking is Lions mane , so I imagine the coffee has the same stuff in it ,
    All a fad isn't it,

My DD loves flavoured coffees and latte ,
    I can't stand them.
    Stick to normal coffee,
B will only drink Nescafe or Americano if we are in a restaurant.

Oma, the first time I heard of Lion's Mane mushrooms was on an episode of Clarkson's Farm. They were growing posh mushrooms in an old ice pit (or something like that) and one day they opened the door and the lion's mane mushrooms had grown so much they could hardly get in there. They looked like something out of a horror movie!

They are supposed to be very good for you, though.

I don't like flavoured coffees, either, and we have mainly Americano at home.

I only like coffee as it is, usually strong as well. I do like a cappuccino, if it is a good one.

Lizzie, at least cafes etc here make much better coffees than they used to years ago. It was often a spoonful of unbranded instant in boiling water and a splash of milk.

Oma, yes it was underground and the lions mane mushrooms were really scary! 😵‍💫😬

Daisy, no wonder I never drunk coffee back in the UK!!! I didn't drink it here for years, they used to give me it with boiled milk and sugar!

We don't like any flavoured coffee.
At home its nescafe instant decaff, in a cafe we usually have a cappuccino.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

It's amazing how many different coffees there are.

I like real coffee, and a decent brand like Taylors ( the one they serve in Betty's) I just drink it black no sugar, so if it's not very good you really taste that.
When I feel in need of a pick me up I sometimes have a Mocha.

Gem, I like coffee black, no sugar, or white with sugar. White without sugar just doesn't taste right.
