We generally have a roast meal on a Sunday at least during the winter. Because there are only two of us we always have left overs. If it is a lot of beef or lamb or pork depending on the size I will vacuum it and freeze it but if it is not enough to make another meal I will whizz it into mince and the vacuum and freeze it to make meatballs with. with chicken left overs I make a pie (frozen pastry always in the freezer), if we have a bacon joint it is used for sandwiches or a carbonara. today it is "Roast Larry" as the husband calls it. We rarely have puddings but will if any of the kids come and that will usually be a crumble or something easy. We eat around 4/5 pm. In the summer we might have lasagne and salad or something like that especially if we are eating in the garden.
If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
