    Remarkable Places to Eat

This series is on BBC2, and Oma mentioned it as this particular episode was filmed where I live. As well as the food, there are some lovely shots of the surrounding Forest and coastline.

Oma - I'd forgotten the pigs were out when you came! They can be quite aggressive though, especially the sows with piglets. I once saw one deliberately bash a car up! This year the acorns went mad - drifts of them everywhere - so the more pigs the better to get rid of them!

I have watched and enjoyed this programme now. What a beautiful place you live Daisy!

Al the food looked lovely apart from that blind taster menu thing, I think there was only the pudding I would eat on that one!

Gem - it is an amazing place to live and we are so lucky to have ended up here by accident!

It's a pity it's a bit too far for our annual meet, but any of you are welcome to come and stay anytime.

If I had a choice where to live it would be The New Forest, apart from the Forest it is near the coast and not too far from London.

Plant - whenever we've been away, even if only for a day, I'm so pleased to be back. As we come into the village we have to turn right into a narrow lane drive over a cattle grid and suddenly I feel as though I'm home. Lots of visitors to the Forest say how they like the slower pace of life and such a lot of people come here to retire.
