That happens in here too Oma, we have started to do "monthly" shop so OH just pops into the shop on a Friday for fresh fruit and veg, etc stuff for fridge and his mams shopping, last week we spent quite a bit, freezer bulging and he said the first person to say theres nothing to eat is gonna get it, well who do you think it was, yes him himself, he didn't know what he fancied, maybe there was too much too choose from, and my 2 DD's if they have to cook it themselves then there is nothing to eat neither... ..

I don't know how it is you can do a huge shop, and the cupboards, fridge and freezer are bulging, and there's still nothing to eat. It happens in our house all the time.

Nothing to eat in our house means I haven't indulged in buying mini-pies and sausage rolls (even though I bake them myself on a regular basis) packs of thin sliced ham they can just pop into their mouth a cheesecake that is defrosted etc,the fact I could put together a 4 course meal together in 1/2 hour does not come into it here lol.

Glamm, the trouble is when you get the munchies you need to munch immediately, if not before!!! Although I must admit if a delicious 4-course meal was on offer from a professional cook like you, I'd manage to wait.

It doesn't matter how much food I have in the freezer, fridge or cupboard I never fancy any of it, I always want something different. !
