I'm not a big trifle fan,but hubby loves it. he likes a sherry trifle.
I prefer sponge in a trifle,no fruit, and alcohol free for me.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I like trifle f it hasn't got jelly in, and I can't have cream, so that limits it a bit!

So it ends up with sponge cake, soggy with sherry, fruit and custard.

I didn't put a sponge or custard option as I presumed we all liked that!

I don't like 'hundreds and thousands ' on my trifle, lots of custard and cream though

                  I like the sprinkles

We used to have those Bird's Trifles when I was growing up. It all came in a box, with Dream Topping for cream, and sprinkles.

If I make trifle when the family are here we have trifle with sherry on one side only. I often crush a flake and sprinkle it over the top perhaps with toasted sliced almonds as well. I take my trifle very seriously!

I have never liked trifle, from a very young age I wouldn't eat jelly, I remember the Christmas parties at the junior school! Jelly and trifle. My DS2 loves trifle and when in the UK I will bring jellys and Birds custard back and make trifle when they eat here. The jellies here are not the same, the same goes for the custard powders.

My OH dislikes jelly (which I love) but does, oddly enough, like trifle, even if it is has jelly in it!

I love the birds trifles but they changed the jelly to sugar free and it tastes watery now .

My trifle has to have fruit in the jelly then thick custard and either dream topping or cream , and a crushed flake on top of flaked almonds and glace cherries

I do love a sherry trifle too . It's odd I don't like booze but I like it in food

Im not fat just 6ft too small
