Pancake Tuesday

Are any of you ladies treating the family to Pancakes to-day,I do love them (too much really) and John enjoyed them with lemon and sugar.
Tonight I am making a few for youngest grandson as my daughter is working until 8pm so Luke will come here from college and have his fill of pancakes with Nutella filling I am only going to make about 6 as the more I make the more I will eat.

Yes, I shall be making pancakes here too Glam. we like them with sugar and lemon with a little drizzle of honey.

Glamm - I love them with lemon and sugar, too! But I won't be making any tonight as it's dog training, and I only have just enough time to make a sandwich between getting home from the GDs' and going out again. I'm sure your GS will be tucking in, no matter how many you make.

I'm not very good at making them, but I would have a go if I was staying in.

Used to make loads for the family, they would be waiting for them straight from the pan. Lemon and sugar for us.

Last year we bought ready made pancakes, so did the same this time. They must have been a different make because they were yucky. Not even the sugar & lemon juice helped.🤦♀️Hope you all enjoyed yours.

I made some for Sunday breakfast for the two eldest GCs who had slept over. I have promised to make some for pud tomorrow too as they come after school. DD1 (the Mother) doesn’t enjoy cooking although a good cook, so I will. 😁
I like lemon and sugar but the GCs prefer syrup or jam.

I had two of the pancakes I made,I filled them with strawberries so it counted as part of my 5 a day and discounted the calories.x

Gem - if you're going to have something special, then keep it special by having whatever you like best. It's a time to blow the calories.

Glamm - mmmmm ..... strawberries with pancakes sounds delicious.

Grauntie - the GCs will be moving in at this rate!

Nana - what a shame the ready made ones were a disappointment.

It seems as though there a quite a few fans of lemon and sugar. My mum always used to use caster sugar, but I just use ordinary granulated.

Nanto - I've never frozen pancakes, but it have frozen crepes in cointreau. It was a really good standby for unexpected guests and easy to defrost.
