Have you used up all the Christmas food yet?

We have a quarter of a Christmas cake, which we both love so it won't be wasted.
We didn't overbuy on the food front, so not so much to use up and we have thrown very little away..
However there are a lot of chocolates about! We were given more on NYE!
We have put several boxes of chocs away upstairs for later in the year

Do you have Christmas goodies left?

Several boxes of chocolates and biscuits that we had bought, are in a cupboard.
Also some Roses and Quality Street we bought ourselves.
I made 4 Christmas cakes,1 has been eaten,1 is half eaten and 2 are untouched.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

We didn't go overboard either Gem. I have a small piece of Christmas cake left. B got more chocolates than me and still has some left I only got a small box from Hotel Chocolate as they all know I can't eat loads. We do have stuff in the freezer but that is stuff that can be used throughout the year. We used up cakes etc when all the family came New years day

Only chocolate left here. Both DDs came Boxing Day and divvied up the left overs to take home!

We have a whole Christmas cake not even out of its box , a small piece of Dundee cake , a packet of mince pies , many, many tins of biscuits, some we brought but mostly ones that were gifts.
A large tin of Quality Street, After 8’s , tubes of Pringles and a bag of peanuts.

In the freezer I have pigs in blankets( forgot to cook them Boxing Day) , sausage rolls and a lot of party food because the family get together never really happened!
Oh and Chocolates off the tree waiting for GC to visit

We have a lot of nuts! OH likes to buy whole ones in shells which you need a nutcracker for. However she forgot to put them until a bowl until January! We have several opened bags of peanuts crisps and nibbles from New Years Eve, now with clips one, but they will all go. A good excuse to have people round again

We've got most of our Christmas cake left, but it will keep and we will eat it - it will probably last until Easter!

We've got unopened packets of nuts, but OH loves them and they won't go to waste. There are a few things in the freezer which will get used up, and we have some beef left over from NYE which I'll use up today. We've got various boxes of chocolates which I suppose we'll have to force down our throats eventually!!

We have some cheese, always buy too much. But we love it, turkey and ham in the freezer, DH has a box of shortbread but everything else has gone. Oh, forgot the mystery mince pies, still got those.

Qwerty - my mum used to keep chocolate in the wardrobe!

Probably because she thought I'd never find it. Fat chance!
