Glamm and Clover - I've got the same book - or rather 'had the same book'. I had a clear-out of cookery books recently and that was one of the casualties as there was nothing I made regularly from it, and as you'd expect, a lot of the recipes have cream in them, which I can't eat!!

SCONE - rhymes with stone if you’re posh, or gone if you’re not, like me! Just eat them, then you won’t need to talk about them. Yummy

Sunshine - does that make the Daisy household posh, then!

Eating them is the best solution!!

I only made the four Daisy so for two of us they only lasted two days Admittedly they were rather large so perhaps we should have had just half each

Only just seen this and on my way to the library! Will see if I can find the recipe when I am back. It needs to be dry English mustard and just a tiny bit. I sometimes use natural yogurt or put a splash of lemon in some milk for scones and cakes. All this talk is making me hungry!
