    Made me laugh !

As some of you know my GS has a peanut allergy. He was recently tested again for other allergies and was found to have an allergy to sesame seeds.
My DD sent an e-mail to the school explaining the situation. She was surprised when the e-mail was rejected by a profanity filter.
She just couldn’t understand this until at last she realised that in the e-mail she had mentioned that F had had a “prick” test.
She resent the message saying F had just had a “test “and it was delivered without delay

Hahaha so funny , I bet she was puzzled at first , Poor F though , I have a Shell fish allergy and that's difficult enough but I would hate a Peanut allergy , you have to be so careful , peanut oil can be in all sorts of food .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

So we are not allowed to use the word prick now.

It made me laugh, too. Swear filters are interesting beasts. I remember on the very first forum I ever used I made some comment using the phrase 'any Tom, Dick or Harry ...' and ending up changing it tongue in cheek to 'Tom, Richard or Harry'

As you can see our GRU filter allows prick tests!

Clover - I hope your GS doesn't find it too hard to avoid peanuts. and sesame seeds. As Oma says peanut oil can be in many things, and it's sometimes called groundnut oil and other things. I've just Googled it and this is what I got:

What other names is Peanut Oil known by? Aceite de Cacahuete, Aceite de Maní, Arachide, Arachis hypogaea, Cacahouète, Cacahuète, Earth-Nut, Groundnuts, Huile d'Arachide, Huile de Cacahouète, Huile de Cacahuète, Monkey Nuts, Peanut, Peanuts.
