    Hubbys wardrobe.

He had 2 shelves full of polo shirts, (the style, not the sport), so i decided to have a clear out.
I honestly can't remember when he last wore one.
When he saw what i was doing, he declared oh i'm going to wear those.
Right i said, well what about those that are a bit tight i asked.
He said, i'm going to wear those when i have lost a bit weight.
They have all gone back on the shelves, but if he doesn't wear any of them soon, they are going to the charity shop.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

        My OH is the same!

He's got a wardrobe full of smart shirts from when he had to wear a suit for work (he's been retired nearly 13 years!) and most of them don't fit. Occasionally I try to sneak one or two out by stealth, but he always seems to spot it before I can get rid of it. He will never, ever wear them, but you can hardly close his wardrobe door and I don't even try to put clean clothes away for him because it's such a battle to get them in.

He's nearly as bad with my clothes. When se sees me loading up a bag for the charity shop he always says 'you're not getting rid of that, are you?' 'Yes, it's older than GS1 (he's 14) and doesn't fit me anymore.' 'Oh, I always liked you in that'. 'It's still going in the bag.' At least he doesn't take my things out again.

I am going to have a turn out of my clothes next week, I must be ruthless. I have clothes that are too big for me since I lost weight, just in case I put it on again.

Plant - that's a lovely reason to get rid of some clothes. I'm sure you won't put weight on again, but if you did you'd want to cheer yourself up with something new anyway. Happy decluttering.

Thanks Daisy you have convinced me, the charity shop will have a visit from me this coming week. I don't take them to the nearest one, I don't want to see my clothes in there.

I think we've all done that Oma. OH's wardrobe is bursting at the seams. Suits, shirts etc & work polo-type t-shirts. What does he wear? His work stuff & at home changes into shorts & t-shirts. I'm shivering & he's in shorts🙈

My OH must be the exception that proves the rule, admittedly he has a few more clothes now than he used to it has been a long hard battle to get him to this stage. He has no interest in clothes, as long as he has the 'one on, one in the wash and one clean' rule he is happy. We are going away for a few days next month and I have told him that he needs some new trousers and a warm fleece. I have put my foot down, the trousers he has already got will not do as they are faded on the knees . He said he has two pairs of trousers in the wardrobe that will do . Honestly, how do you explain to him that formal suit trousers just will not go with a fleece and trainers ! Wish me luck, it's going to be a hard few days !
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Every time we go to M&S OH buys yet another pile of socks and pants. He must have hundreds. None ever seem to get thrown away. 3 drawers of socks! Why,oh why,oh why?

I feel I should have thought up 101 uses for a sock by now Nana. How many to make a length of rope I wonder....😁
