    Update on Niece

Well good news is she finally came home yesterday morning ,
1 hour after she came home 3 nurses turned up to check everything was in place , They checked her drainage pump was working and the packing in her wound was ok , also that her pain level was managed .
Nurses will be coming out twice a day till the wound is closed and she no longer needs the drain pump ,
Brother rang last night to say she had been in pain at one point but she was asleep and they were hoping for a easy night , haven't heard anything this morning but fingers crossed she's now at home things will be better

I'm so pleased for her Oma. We all feel much better at home, and she has nurses coming to keep an eye on things.

She will recover so much better now she is home, we all know a hospital is the last place where you can get any peace. If its not drs doing their rounds its phones ringing or
cleaners chatting cheerily to you when all you want to do is sleep.
Hope she soon starts to feel better.

Glad she has finally got home Oma, nothing like home for healing.Familiar surroundings always help.

Oma, you must all be relieved to have her home, and I'm sure she will feel more relaxed. Sending lots of 'get well' wishes to her. xx
