    My Nephew

On Tuesday my oldest Nephew (49) was admitted to Hospital with severe lower stomach pain they found he had a ruptured lower bowel , they have him on a IV with strong antibiotics for the infection coursing around his body , and several other drips , they watching and waiting to see if the bowel repairs itself while he is on the antibiotics till Sunday , if no improvement they will operate to remove his lower bowel and fit a bag in the short term , we not sure if it will then be long term it depends how his body heals , he has only been back to work two weeks after major spinal surgery earlier in the year , he's a very fit man but this past year everything seems to have hit him at once . I still see him as a little boy even though he's 49 and 6 ft 2 in , you just don't think of them as getting ill when so fit do you . He's in good spirits though getting fussed over by in his words "some very fit nurses " 😊

Sorry to hear about your nephew I do hope he makes a quick recovery after the rotten time he has had. Your right you don't think of them getting ill, remember I lost my nephew at that age but in his case it was cancer.

Poor chap! He must have had enough of being unwell. I do hope he responds to the ABs. Glad he feels well enough to admire the scenery. 😄

What a horrible thing to happen to your nephew Oma,especially as he was just getting back on his feet after his other op.
I do hope he gets better as soon as possible without another operation.

What a horrible year your nephew has had Oma,he sounds in good spirits though I hope the ABs work for him and he doesn't have to undergo any more surgery, mind you if they give a temporary bag once healed they may be able to do a reversal as they did to hubby when he had water work trouble a few years ago. sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.
