    Give me strength

At this moment I could do murder ,
Brian sitting in garden so I said I'm going upstairs to do the ironing . About 5 minutes later I could hear banging I thought it was next door putting something on his fence as he's always hanging something up , anyway it went on for a while , when I finished I thought I would have a snoop out of back bedroom window see what he was doing only to find my stupid husband on the shed roof 😲. I opened the window wide and said in so many words what the hell are you doing ? Re felting the roof came the reply , I can see that you stupid man if you fall and hurt yourself your life will not be worth living I'm warning you .
Keep in mind this is the man who was at the Dr yesterday as he's still in pain with his leg and it keeps giving way, if it wasn't for his crutches he would have fallen several times .
We have a DS ,SIL, and Brothers between us all willing to do it , but no he had too . He's down now and in the dog house , I can't leave him alone for 5 minutes Grrr

Libra there was no need yes it could do with doing but wasn't desperate , to be honest I didn't even know we had any felt in the shed . We had discussed next year the fence would need treating and we taking the patio up and laying Astro turf and said we would have the roof done then , but he took it on himself to do it now , I'm not trying to stop him doing things but not up on a roof not in his condition , yes he's frustrated he can't do as much as he once did but this was silly , if he had fallen I wouldn't have heard him I was in front bedroom , our SIL will go mad with him when I tell him , he is still on holiday today doesn't go back till tomorrow so he would have done it , Men and their pride 😠

Well I think it's the naughty step for him.
But you are right, he could have fallen and with the amount of times he has had to visit the hospital you would have thought the prospect of a ride in an ambulance would have made him think twice before he took the job on.
But on the other hand....with all he his been through he most probably enjoyed the fact that he could actually get up on to the shed roof , after all a few months ago he wouldn't have had the strength to do it.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

That's true Mimi but I felt sick when I thought what might of happened , he's not good on his legs to start with and having two spinal fusions he could have broke his back , believe me the ear bashing he got he will think twice even if it's to not hear me screeching like a banshee at him 😊

I sympathise Oma. I have an OH who 'pushes the boundries' doing things I consider dangerous.
In B's case it is dowright reckless. I can just imagine your face when you saw him, and his when he realised!!

Well pleased you have let him out of the doghouse now.
Things could have been nasy if he had fallen, let's be thankful he didn't fall.
I know it's no consolation for you,but my hubby would have done the same.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Oma - thank God he didn't fall, and no wonder you were a teeny tiny bit cross with him! At least he knows how much you love him.
