    Something funny happened the other day ,
    GS was at ours and he said he had been to next to get a new dress shirt,
    He didn't know what size he wanted so he had asked for help from a assistant ,
    She had measured him.
    Before he could tell me I said

    38 chest 15.1/2 collar
    He was flabbergasted
    He said how did you know that nana?

    I said oh it's a Nana & Mam thing we know these things .


    When in fact some time ago he borrowed a shirt from his grandad
    He had forgotten about it and it was them exact sizes 😁

    He now thinks I'm a witch 🀣🀣
    Im not fat just 6ft too small

    Funnily enough Oma, hubby calls me a which because i know the same kind of thing that you knew.
    He also calls me it,because i predict things,and then it happens.
    Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

      Oma, I think as mums and grans we store all sorts of odd facts. The other day OH asked if I'd put a certain item on our Sainsbury's order. I hadn't but said I'd do it there and then. He commented that it was 10.40 pm, and I said Sainsburys orders can be updated until 11 pm, it's Milk & More which is 9 pm. He couldn't believe I knew such things!

      OH probably thinks I'm a witch, too.

        Your right Daisy we store things because men wouldn't think they were important and promptly forget about it,

        It was the surprised look on GSs face that got me 🀣

            On the subject of "things women remember", we were out for a meal with a group of people one night. Looking at the menu, one man pointed to something on the menu and asked his (incredibly patient and tolerant) wife "Darling, do I like this?" At first I thought he was joking, but he was serious!

                  This reminds me of my brother's youngest. Son , now a Sargent in the army .
                  He was. About 18 his parents were away and his sister was making him a cup of tea ,
                  She said David do you take sugar ? He said I don't know Mam usually makes my tea πŸ˜†

                  Then there was my DS we were coming home from staying with my sister for a few days ,
                  He rang me and said "Mam I have put the bedding in the wash ,
                  I said great saves me ,"
                  He then said " where do I put the softener ,? I said the Same draw as the washing powder just in the little middle bit .

                  There was silence then he said what washing powder I thought it was automatic 😱
                  He honestly thought the powder some how went in automatically,

                  My reply was leave it I will sort it when I. Get home πŸ™„

                    Oma, the washing powder conversation reminds me of our GS2 when OH and I were staying there when DS1 was very ill. GS2 had eaten late and I asked him to put his dishes in the dishwasher and run it.

                    The next morning, the dishes were still unwashed. He thought the machine started automatically!

                      I was chatting with some of my little readers and it was something about winning. One said First’s the worst. The other one said Second’s the best and I said Third’s the one with the hairy chest!! Their faces were a picture! How do you know that? I said Well I was a little girl a long time ago! 😁
