    Two talented dancers!

As I'm sure I will have mentioned, my GD is a very dedicated and talented dancer, having danced since she was 3. She now helps her dance teacher with the little ones Saturday class, that she was once a member of!
She also joined a second dance school a year to so ago so has several classes a week.
Dance is a big part of her life and she is often perfecting turns in the living toom!

A year ago she had to pull out of a show at dress rehearsal stage due to her anxiety (I have covered this in YEO and most of you will know this story)

On Saturday night we went to see a show from her main dance school. Most of the dances were to songs from Musicals This show was just the older classes so no cute little ones this time

I know she is mine and I am of course proud and maybe biased, but her dancing stands out well above the other dancers. Her moves, stage presence and personality are professional. As OH said to me afterwards, others may have the steps right but look as though they are going through the motions, GD lives each dance. She can also do those terrifying hands-free somersaults, and she did a couple during the Cats dance

I admit I shed a few tears just seeing her so happy knowing what she has been thorough.

She was in dances with her group of about 8, a dance of 4 and a duet dance.
Her lovely boyfriend and best friend were with us, both proud and supportive.

We all waited outside for GD and her mum after the show. L, GD's boyfriends nipped over with SIL to the car and returned with a fabulous bouquet of flowers for GD
I don't know many 15 year old boys would present flowers so publicly to his girlfriend. All his own idea and so sweet.

We knew of course that we were going to see GD perform
We had NO idea that we would see DD2 as well!! I know that she has been going to ballet classes for a few years, but had no idea the ladies class was performing in this show! She kept that very quiet.

She was in two dances. It really took me back to all the years of watching my little girl (and her sisters) dance, and here she was again!

All the ladies did so well and we were very proud of DD2 as well as GD.
I will attach a few pics

Gem, what a fabulous evening. I didn't immediately see the caption to the Cats (I guess?) dance, but straight away picked out your GD. The way she held herself and her pose is magnificent, and very professional. Her boyfriend sounds a lovely, thoughtful lad, and I bet he was proud of your GD too.

Seeing your DD2 dancing as well must have been such a surprise, and another proud moment for you.
