Who do yours look like ?

We went to Cardiff see DD and GS today. As the bus pulled up at the bus stop I could see waiting to meet us was GS and my mother..... But on second glance it was in fact GS and DD .
Her hair is black and thick just like mums was ( mine is a sort of washed out brunette and whispy flyaway) , she stands like mum used to holds her handbag like mum used to , she even had her nails painted red just like mum used to.
Everyone says she looks like me, but then I'm told I look like dad ???
    It's very weird.

Elder GD looks just like I did ! Younger GD looks like her father's family. But they do change as the years pass.

Our eldest is hubby's double, but our youngest looks like my dad.Eldest granddaughter looks like her mother and her mothers sister.Youngest granddaughter looks her dad and my hubby. Nobody seems to have inherited my looks.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

DD1 looks like my mother and me too at her age (36) same colouring, hair, etc.,she also takes in all the waifs and strays, animal and human, as my Mother did and so did I. DD2 is a clone of my M-i-L. She bakes like she did too, her husband is a very lucky man.

DD1 looks just like her dad, DD2 like me, DD3 a combination of us both.
We think my GS, 2 looks like my dad, but it may just be wishful thinking, as dad was gone before he was born. He certainly doesn't seem to be displaying my dads lovely sweet temper!!

My DD is the double of me according to everyone she even sounds like me people on the phone never know the difference when they call and she answers, she is also "bottle blonde" but
a bit lighter than mine and she has her hair cut short she even has similar dress sense which is weird, the boys take after me in that they are both tall but tend to have their dads mannerisams and both have had a tendency to have
gone a bit thin on top just like their dad.

I find it fascinating to see family resemblences emerging as the children grow. My DS2 is exactly like my OH, and like Glamm and her DD, they sound the same on the phone. DS1 is like my father's side of the family and he has some of my father's mannerisms. The first time I watched him carefully and neatly roll up hi shirt sleeves it gave me quite a shock, because that's exactly how my dad did them!

Both our GSs have their Mum's big brown eyes, but while GS1 looks more like his dad his personality is more like his mum's and GS2 is the other way round.

I feel sorry for GD2, because it looks as though her hair is going to be like mine! One side curves neatly under and the other side sticks out at right angles! Poor child.
