    Husbands Grrrr

OH has four pairs of those casual trousers with all the pockets up the legs. He likes them because he can carry all his bits and pieces including mints, glucose tablets and biscuits (he is diabetic) around with him easily. So, they needed washing and I asked him to make sure all the pockets were empty and pop them in the machine. Silly me, should have done it myself....what did I find when I emptied the machine....a whole plastic tube of gluco tabs, half a packet of mints, the rest had dissolved and stuck to the trousers and of course shredded tissues! Goodness knows what happened to the biscuits he had In there! So guess what I've been doing this morning . However, he has hoovered all through and cleaned the conservatory inside and out so he has redeemed himself.

I hate tissues in the pocket , it takes ages to get it off everything , just recently our electric key fob for the car went through a full cycle and a full tumble dry still works thank god they a couple hundred pounds to replace , he is usually quite good at empty pockets ,what really annoys me and i should be used to it now is he puts his socks in the washing basket all rolled up drives me insane having to pull them apart and straighten them , He also has a habit of coming into the hall taking his shoes off and putting them beside the shoe box why ? it only takes seconds to open the flap and put them in, he even does it when i take mine off and open the flap he still puts them down the side Grrr the amount of times i have thrown them in with such force im suprised the box is still in one piece .
My SIL is terrible for leaving things in his pockets he has those combat pants as he is a carpet fitter my DD is forever cleaning the trap out in there washer , there is always a hand full of carpet tacks or screws from the door plates and in the warmer weather its Golf Tee`s in his other pants , thats why we women have handbags
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Hubby is good about emptying his pockets.Had a bit of a go at him today though.
I was doing my jobs, and he thought he would help.Problem is, he doesn't help, he takes over, then doesn't like it if you don't do things his way.So I gently reminded him, these are jobs I have been doing for 46 years.

I have had car keys too and often a couple of pound coins make that horrible clonking noise as the machine goes around. I have had several pairs of spectacles and one mobile phone which still worked fine once tried out. Luckily not a smart phone. Not a smart husband either

hair clips....grrrr, always finding them in washing machine with 2 DD's at home, its quite often, I don't check pockets and I don't know how many times I tell them, I take no responsibility for "stuff" getting ruined in pockets, tissues is the worst that is just a nightmare to get off, I hate it when they put clothes in the basket one leg inside out sleeves not fully pulled out.....that was DD a few weeks ago, she lost her bank card and was going to ring the bank and cancel it if she didn't find it that night when she got home from work, opens the washer door there it is, I didn't tell her straight away though, .............hmmm try and teach her a lesson, until next time....

I have forgotten the amount of doggy bags I have found in my machine John seems to have them in every pocket for when he is out with Poppy he is also fond of leaving hankies in his dressing gown pockets and if I don't check everything turns out covered with white bits grrrr,I quite often find his bus pass looking back at me when I open the machine door so snap Pearls it seems they never learn no matter how old they are.

My OH empties his pockets every single night - and dumps all the bits and pieces on our bedroom window sill - and leaves them there until I get fed up with them and put them into a small bowl or something. When that gets full I put it in the top drawer of his bedside table. When it gets to the point he can't open the drawer properly he sorts it all out! There must be a better way, dear OH!

As for socks - why do they roll them up like that! It drives me mad, too.

The man who lives here had 'mislaid' his house keys yet again. He 'looks' for things not really looking at all and I generally find that which is lost. This time it has been 2 whole days. Guess who found them in his dressing gown pocket...moi of course. If it's not keys it's his wallet/ phone/best pen...

GM - it don't know what's worse - OH 'looking' for lost items or my OH who will take the house apart brick by brick if he - or I - lose anything. And the search has to start immediately no matter what! I mislaid my phone recently - but knew it was in the house. But we were just about to go out so said I'd find it later. OH wouldn't leave the house until we'd found it!
