    Better news

Yesterday my Nephew my Late brothers boy who got married a couple of weeks ago,
He's in the Army, Him and 3 Gurkha’s did a 100K hike over the South Downs for charity,

Its a yearly thing they pay £300 to compete and it all goes to charity .
The aim is to do it over 2 days but my nephew said each year it’s won by the Napalese who can do it in only 9 hours 😱

They were aiming for 17 hours and they smashed it 😁
very proud of him and his crew ,

Oma - well done to your nephew and all the other competitors. The South Downs are lovely, but not easy walking over such a long distance.

Oma, our next door neighbour is a keen cyclist and incredibly fit even though he's in his 60s. He attempted a 100k bike ride over the same route and had to give up. Admittedly the weather was atrocious with torrential rain and strong winds, but he was disappointed. Running must be 100 times harder.
