    Yesterday

Yesterday was not a good day for me I was in a very dark place , I cried all day as Yesterday my Brother made his final journey .
Although it was a bad day it was also a very proud day ,

The Hearse was driven past his boxing club and the street was lined with all the boxing club members clapping wearing tops with his name on and they released 300 Red & Black balloons ( although balloon releases are not my favourite ) each had a message attached for him .

Then when they came to the end over 30 coaches and Boxers ran the 2 mile to the Crematorium behind the coffin to escort him then lined up to clap him into the Crem .

On the drive up to the doors friends old work colleagues neighbours lined the avenue and stood outside to say goodbye
My niece said the service was full of laughter as well as tears and she read out the cards myself and my sister wrote before they went with him so we were part of it .

The time of the funeral my Sister phoned and we cried together it was so hard and so surreal.
    Our hearts are broken

It's silly things you think about like I will never have to ring him to remind him of Birthdays again he was useless at remembering those , or make sure I had his favourite biscuits in for when he visited

But knowing he was so loved and respected makes us so proud of him . My Big Brother

Oma - what a sad, sad day, but at the same time you must be bursting with pride for him. What an amazing man to have inspired so much love and respect in the tough world of boxing. Just imagine the difference he's made to so many youngsters in his coaching career.

I've never had a brother, but if I had, I would have wanted him to be like your J.

        Sending love and hugs. xxx
