    So Proud

My DD Jacqueline went Vegan for November to Raise money for Cancer Research , it ends today and so far she has raised £611 and still more to come in ,
We are so proud of her , some days haven't been easy but she's enjoyed doing it but at times craved poached egg on toast of all things

She has stuck with it and no cheating , was hard when going to restaurants as Vegan menu's are limited , she said she will still eat vegan occasionally but wouldn't do it full time she loves her fish too much .

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oh well done to her Oma! It can't have been easy.
She did really well, we are all proud of her too

Oma - well done to your amazing DD.

Can we still contribute, and if so how, please?

Wow, what an achievement. It must have been difficult finding recipes and something to eat and drink every day for a month. I bet she’s a pro now. My god daughter is a vegan and I really have to put my thinking cap on if she is coming for a meal.

I eat Vegan meals occasionally but like your DD Oma I would miss eggs and fish. Well done to her.

My SIL has been a vegan for many years.
I don't mind the odd vegan meal, but would miss eggs and cheese too much to do it permanently, and fish!

                            Thanks Oma

Yes, I can imagine after 4 weeks of lettuce etc a load of dairy or meat would sit a bit heavy.

I could quite easily give up meat, eggs and most dairy - except cheese - but fish would be the really difficult one, but it's quite hard to keep your iron levels up on a vegan diet and that's a problem for me.
