    Hi from Nanna2b!

Hi all, having just poured my heart out on the old forum, I have now found out it has all changed! I don't think I can go through it all again, but here's a little about me.

I joined the old forum just before I had my first grandchild, 2 1/2 years ago after my son got married. Hence my name Nanna2b, which I have decided to keep! I had a wonderful time looking after Jessica for a year, and have created a great bond with her. I now have a grand son, William, who has just turned 1. I don't have the same bond with him as my DIL has only just gone back to work and has employed a nanny to help out now. I don't think I would have had the energy to look after two anyway!
I have just had my 60th birthday this weekend, and had a lovely time with the family on Sunday. More information is on the old website if any of you fancy popping back and having a quick look before giving me some advice on other matters! Suffice it to say, I am struggling at the moment!
Looking forward to chatting to you all. XX

Hello and welcome from me, as well, Nan2be.

Sixty is a bit of a milestone, and I think it kind of creeps up on us, and we look round and realise we are the senior generation (even though you still have your parents). It takes a bit of getting used to ! My first GS was born just 2 months after my 60th, and I honestly didn't feel old enough to be a grandmother. I did realise thought that 60 isn't old these days, and now I'm over 70 I don't think 70 is old either! Even though I ache all over after a day of looking after my 17 month old GD, and my brain feels like mush!
