This initiative was started by two local mothers. The idea is that you collect a number of pebbles and let the children decorate them with acrylics or sharpies and then varnish them. Then you hide them in the locality. It’s great fun to go out with your children / grandchildren and hunt for pebbles. When you find them, you can photograph them and then hide them again in a different place. It’s a brilliant idea, it gets children and adults outdoors and teaches them to really use their eyes.

Sum1, they do that at my granddaughters school, which is a village school. The children hide the stones around the village. GD and I have found a couple on our way home from school.
I think it's a really good idea“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
