What is your favourite thing to do if you have a spare day?

When you have day to yourself, what do you like to do?I don't mean what you feel you ought to do, but given free choice, What would you do?

It is so long since I had a day lol , but I like to just chill and read , maybe still in my PJs till lunch time , then a long shower and a coffee after lunch in the peace outside

I don't know what I would do its so long since I had a day where there wasn't something to do , but if I did I think slob around till I felt like getting dressed then maybe a walk along the promenade at the beach have lunch somewhere come home change into PJ,s and listen to music while doing my puzzle and cross word books , but known me I would get bored and end up clearing a cupboard or something like that 😀

I enjoy a day on the sofa after a nice shower and finding cosy pj's to snuggle down and watch a Catherine Cookson movie it doesn't happen often enough but I do so enjoy it when it does happen.

I am still thinking of my own answer.
I am lucky, because although I have a busy lifestyle, with 3 GC and an elderly mum to take care of, and the fact that I still work, I do still have times during the week just for me.

Me too, although I have seen them more than once.

It would be a nice sunny day, and I'd have breakfast in the summerhouse. Then a shower. I'd take Eva for a walk in the Forest - and she would be relaxed and enjoy it. Then I'd do a bit of painting and/or pyrography. Just before sunset, I'd take my camera and go back into the Forest, or maybe the beach and hope for a stunning sunset. Home to a glass of red wine and an early night. Ahhhhhh, if only!

                  Let me think....

A cup of tea in bed, whilst reading or on my tablet (this is not an unusual start to my day, I have to admit)
Followed by a lovely relaxing bath, listening to The Archers on i player - or live if it was Sunday morning.
Then downstairs to a lovely breakfast. Perhaps eggs Benedict, or a full English, or pancakes with maple syrup, blueberries and strawberries. Orange juice and black coffee with that.
A bit more online time, to settle the meal, and catch up with you all.
Then out for a trip to the coast or countryside. A walk and a light lunch somewhere.
Then on to visit all the GC, together, somewhere other than at my house
On the way home OH and I would stop somewhere for a lovely meal, probably involving seabass or lamb shank, and Eton mess, and a nice glass of wine or two.

                  A nice fantasy day

If I have time to myself, I while away far too much time online, or meet a friend for coffee or lunch, and do sometimes have relaxing bath. I also catch up on things on TV. In summer I sometimes read in the garden,. For some reason I rarely read inside unless I am in bed!!
