I had every intention of starting a collection of the backing papers from Elastoplast but the instructions tell me quite firmly that I must dispose of them once removed. What a disappointment. Nearly as upsetting as the bag of peanuts that warned me that it may contain peanuts! I would never have guessed!

Today, I was in my DS2's photographic shop putting up their Christmas decorations (don't laugh, Gem!!!) when a customer came in to get some photos off his phone, explaining 'they're just some random photos I've taken'. I was left wondering what he does about the photos he hasn't taken!

I was in a kitchen shop today and overhead an elderly male customer complain that they didn't have any battery kitchen timers. The assistant agreed that they didn't, adding 'they're all mechanical'. The man said 'So I could put a battery in them, couldn't I"."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
