    Canasta

Does anyone here play Canasta? I bought a pack of cards from the Charity Shop I volunteer at and thought I (we) would learn how. Is it fun or is it serious?

Grauntie, me too. I don't play cards very often and can't even remember how to play Newmarket! Canasta sounds interesting though. I wonder if there are clubs at organisations like U3A?

Intrigued, I found a YouTube video on Canasta. It look fairly straightforward to play, but I honestly think I'd need a calculator to keep track of how the points stack up!
