How to survive Wimbledon if you don't like tennis??

I hope Gemini enjoyed her visit to Wimbledon, it was an exciting days tennis , apart from the ladies final there were two doubles matches.

I really enjoyed it Plant!
The ladies final was so good. Most of the crowd were rooting for the 21 year old Spanish player, Gabriela someone. She did so well,, amazingly well, to come 2nd to Serena Williams. I admit I found the mens doubles a bit boring,,and we left that for a while in search of food and Pimms. The ladies doubles was more interesting, but for me anything was going to be an anti climax after seing a ladies final match for my very first tennis match!
We found the park & ride bus place, and took that right to the tennis . It all worked well

Glad you enjoyed it Gem, thanks for the card by the way, much appreciated. I am not keen on any sport and I am lucky that neither of us are bothered about sports. I had to go to Southfield earlier this week and it was a nightmare with the tennis travellers (allegedly 12 minutes walk to Ghe tournament ). Usually you get on the train and just find a seat for the couple of stops but this week it was packed. I know I shouldn't complain but ........
